Penghu Ocean Geological Park Center, located near Magong City Hall, is established by the government as a geological center. Inside the geological center, there are introductions to the geological park, natural reserves in Penghu, distribution maps of Miao Island Bird Sanctuary and Qimei Stone Tool Factory, a geological timeline of Penghu, geological parks from around the world, geological parks in Taiwan, themes on stone materials, special landscapes of Penghu, introductions to basalt, and more, making it very rich and detailed.

♦Penghu Marine Geology Park Center♦ The Penghu Marine Geology Park Center is established by the Penghu County Government in relation to the geological park, located next to the Third Fishing Harbor, just a street away from Magong City Office. Inside the geological center, there are introductions to the geological park, as well as distribution maps of Penghu’s nature reserves, including the Cat Island Bird Sanctuary and the Qimei Stone Tool Factory, a geological timeline of Penghu, geological parks from around the world, Taiwanese geological parks, stone material life themes, Penghu's unique landscapes, and introductions to basalt, among other rich and detailed content. Although the interior space is not large, it is divided into 15 areas, including: "Penghu Basalt Display," "Penghu Unique Landscapes," "Introduction to Basalt," "Penghu Geological Timeline," "Penghu Six Major Geological Parks," "Penghu's Nature and Bird Reserves," "Qimei Stone Tool Factory," "World Common Assets," "Stone Material Life Theme," "Audio-Visual Room," "Library and Stone Crafts," and "Interactive Educational Activities." Notably, the exterior of the geological center primarily uses stone and follows a traditional Japanese style, making it a very distinctive building. The interior is divided into many exhibition areas, with wooden stairs, allowing visitors to ascend to higher areas for a better view. Many areas within are also dedicated to scientific education for children! The Rock Blue Cave VR experience allows everyone to glimpse the natural beauty of Penghu. The Penghu County Government has built a mini Blue Cave VR experience theater at the Penghu Marine Geology Park Center, with the exterior walls mimicking basalt, and blue soft lighting on the floor, creating the feel of entering a mysterious blue cave. Players will ride dynamic seats wearing VR glasses, soaring through 360-degree panoramic photography to experience the beauty of Penghu's geological landscape, completing an adventure that can't be achieved in real life. The mini Blue Cave VR experience theater currently provides two films for visitors, "Overlooking Penghu 360" aerial film, and "Penghu Underwater 360" underwater photography film, allowing visitors to choose their preferred film type. If you do not arrive on time for your reservation, please follow the staff's instructions to use the equipment during available reservation periods. 【Overlooking Penghu 360】 "Overlooking Penghu 360" simulates the view of a tern flying in the air, featuring aerial footage of the Penghu archipelago composed of nearly a hundred islands. The aerial perspective provides a unique and breathtaking view of the Penghu archipelago's basalt terrain. The film introduces many famous basalt terrain sites in Penghu, such as the Blue Cave (also known as Oven Cave) on Xijiyi of the Nanshan Four Islands, the Double Heart Stone Weir and Little Taiwan in Qimei, the Bucket Basin Island which has the honor of being called the Yellowstone National Park of the sea, the Moses Split between Guihaishan and Chiyu, the most beautiful sandy beach at Shawei Beach on Jibei Island, the Whale Cave on Xiaomen Island, and the coral reef ecosystem in the secret forest growing on the continental shelf, with a total duration of about three and a half minutes. The stunning scenery prompts one to immediately explore it in person. Seeing the beauty of Penghu's basalt landscape leaves a deeper impression of the Penghu archipelago, enhancing appreciation and affection for it. 【Penghu Underwater 360】 "Penghu Underwater 360" is an underwater film specially directed by the renowned underwater filmmaker Yuan Hsu-Hu, who personally filmed underwater. This film is shot using 360-degree photography technology and 4K underwater cinematography, presenting a panoramic view of the stunning underwater scenery around the Penghu archipelago. The film length is 2 minutes and 30 seconds, capturing the famous underwater sites in Penghu, including the underwater mailbox, lock port, coral garden, Xijiy Fortress, lavender forest, Dongji Corridor, barracuda schools, and the underwater corridors of Xijiy. The film not only brings back memories of underwater scenes from the film "East Longitude, North Latitude" but also allows viewers to see a variety of colorful underwater landscapes. Furthermore, recognizing Director Yuan Hsu-Hu's concern for marine ecology, this film aims to raise viewers' awareness and attention to the marine environment while showcasing the rich underwater ecology and beautiful marine landscapes. 【Recommended Stay Time】 2 hours
