Chang Yu-Sheng Story House Introduction

The Chang Yu-sheng Story Museum is a renovated building in the military dependents' village where singer Chang Yu-sheng lived during his childhood—Duxing Ten Village. Due to the limited space, the county government included adjacent buildings No. 20, 18, and 16 in the renovation to create a comprehensive exhibition area for the museum. The museum displays furniture from the past and exhibits artifacts related to Chang Yu-sheng, such as photographs, creative works, letters, trophies, achievements, and videos. Most of these artifacts were provided by Chang Yu-sheng's friends, relatives, and fans, making them of special value. The museum's exhibition themes are divided into four areas: Chang Yu-sheng's childhood life, academic growth, entry into the music industry, and media coverage, showcasing various aspects of his life in Penghu. Chang Yu-sheng, a talented songwriter born in Penghu, spent his early years in the historically significant Duxing Ten Village, yet his life there is little known.
