Chang Yu-sheng Story Museum Introduction

The Chang Yu-sheng Story House is built on the site of the military dependents' village where the singer Chang Yu-sheng spent his childhood - the Duxing Ten Village. Due to the limited space, the county government included the neighboring buildings numbered 20, 18, and 16 for renovation to serve as a comprehensive exhibition for the story house. Inside the house, antique furniture is arranged along with artifacts related to Chang Yu-sheng, such as photos, creative works, letters, trophies, achievements, and films. Most of these artifacts were provided by Chang Yu-sheng's friends, family, and fans, making them highly valuable. The Chang Yu-sheng Story House divides its exhibition into four sections, introducing Chang Yu-sheng's childhood life, educational growth, entry into the music industry, and media coverage, all highlighting his experiences while studying and living in Penghu. Born in Penghu, the talented creator Chang Yu-sheng grew up in the historical Duxing Ten Village in Magong City until he was nine, which is often overlooked. Today, based on Duxing Ten Village, the Chang Yu-sheng Story House has been planned to commemorate this creative talent. Chang Yu-sheng created many well-known songs and rose to fame with an inspiring song "My Future is Not a Dream." He passed away in a car accident at the age of thirty-one, leaving many regrets and memories for his fans. 【Suggested visiting time】 0.5 hours 【Opening hours】 April to September 08:00-12:00 14:00-18:00 October to March 08:00-12:00 13:30-17:30 【Chinese New Year period】 Closed on New Year's Eve.
