Zheng Family Ancestral Hall Introduction
Built in 1823, the Zheng Clan Ancestral Hall is a single courtyard building with three sections and two entrances. In front of the hall, there are two pairs of flagpole bases that were moved from the Zheng residence; only the bases and the intermediate stones remain today. The most distinctive feature of this building is the Bagua pavement in front of the main gate, which demonstrates the Zheng family’s emphasis on rigorous layout and feng shui principles.
