Lakeside Teahouse Introduction
Located across from Hsinchu City Zoo by Lichi Lake, there is a lakeside pavilion that served as a place for the Japanese to host high-ranking officials and wealthy merchants during the Japanese colonial era. After 1950, it no longer functioned as a high-end club, but was instead used to accommodate single pilots and later transformed into an Air Force dependents' village known as "Air Force Village No. 11". Lichi Garden was reopened in September 2018, restoring the landscape to a Japanese garden architectural style, and created a waterfall from the Lichi water source, resulting in a seasonal garden scenery.
