Power Engineering Station Introduction
The first "National Gravity Standard Station" in Taiwan is located in the air-raid shelter of Shih-chin Mountain, equipped with the most precise, nanometer-level superconducting gravimeter. It has collaborated with domestic and international institutions to plan an internationally standard-level "Geodesy and Geodynamic Monitoring Laboratory (TOGG)." The laboratory also installs broadband seismometers and connects to nearby tide data, enabling better measurements of minute displacements and mass change data. It is anticipated that it will be capable of synchronously detecting micro-seismic activities and tsunamis globally in the future.
