Power Standards Station Introduction
The first "National Gravity Reference Station" in Taiwan is located in the Shih Ta Chien Mountain Anti-Air Raid Shelter. It is equipped with the most precise, nanometer-level superconducting gravity meters and has planned an internationally standard "Geodesy and Ground Motion Monitoring Laboratory (TOGG)" in collaboration with domestic and foreign institutions. The facility also installs broadband seismometers, connecting to nearby tide data, allowing for better measurement of minute displacements and mass change data. In the future, it is expected to synchronize with the global detection of micro-seismic activities and tsunami occurrences.
