Power Reference Station Introduction
The first "National Gravity Reference Station" in Taiwan is located in the air defense tunnel at Shih Tzu Mountain. It features the most precise, nano-level superconducting gravimeter and is combined with domestic and international organizations to plan an internationally standard "Geodetic and Geodynamic Monitoring Laboratory (TOGG)." The city is also equipped with broadband seismometers, connecting to nearby tide data, allowing for better detection of minute displacements and mass changes. In the future, it is expected to synchronize with global detection of micro-seisms and tsunami occurrences.
