Dynamic Reference Station Introduction
The first "National Gravity Reference Station" in Taiwan is located at the Shih Pai Mountain Air Raid Shelter. It features the most precise, nano-level superconducting gravimeter and, in collaboration with domestic and international organizations, plans to establish an internationally standard "Geodesy and Ground Motion Monitoring Laboratory (TOGG)." The site is also equipped with broadband seismometers to integrate nearby tide data, allowing for better measurements of subtle displacements and mass changes. In the future, it is expected to synchronize globally in detecting microseisms and tsunamis.
