Nangang Bird Watching Area Introduction
The Nankang Bird-watching Area, located south of the estuary of Yanshuikang River along the southern section of the coastal highway in Hsinchu City, is a small yet beautiful ecological zone. Several ponds within the embankment have become resting places for wild birds after foraging. The Hsinchu City Government has commissioned the Hsinchu City Wild Bird Society to set up a bird-watching wall here, allowing visitors to observe nature’s creatures without disturbing their activities. The rich natural ecosystem has long been a "secret garden" for enthusiasts of intertidal ecology and wild birds in the city. No matter when you visit, you can enjoy the natural scenery of various wild birds resting and playing in these ponds.
