Nangang Birdwatching Area Introduction
The Nankang Bird Watching Area, located south of the mouth of the Yanshui River in Hsinchu City along the southern section of the Coastal Highway, is a small but beautiful ecological area. Several ponds inside the embankment have become resting places for wild birds foraging in the area. The Hsinchu City Government has commissioned the Hsinchu City Wild Bird Society to set up a bird-watching wall that allows visitors to observe the activities of nature without disturbing the wildlife. The rich natural ecological landscape has long been regarded as a "secret garden" for enthusiasts of coastal ecology and wild birds in the city. No matter when you visit, you can enjoy the sight of various wild birds resting and playing in these ponds.
