Nangang Birdwatching Area Introduction
The Nankang Bird Watching Area, located on the southern side of the intersection of the Yan Shui River and the sea, is situated along the southern section of the Coastal Highway in the western part of Hsinchu City. It is a small yet beautiful ecological area with several ponds that have become resting places for wild birds after foraging. The city government commissioned the Hsinchu City Wild Bird Society to set up a bird watching wall here, allowing visitors to observe the natural behaviors of wildlife without disturbing them. The rich natural ecological landscape has long been a "secret garden" for enthusiasts of intertidal ecology and wild birds in the city. Regardless of when you visit, you can enjoy the natural spectacle of various wild birds resting and playing around the ponds.
