The Former Residence of Principal Hsin Chih-Ping is a designated historic site to commemorate the educational achievements of Hsin Chih-Ping, a former principal of Hsinchu High School. The residence is a Japanese wooden dormitory built around 1922, originally serving as the principal's assigned residence at Hsinchu High School. Principal Hsin lived here from 1945 until his death in 1985.
