The Former Residence of Principal Hsin Chih-ping is a designated historic site commemorating the educational contributions of Principal Hsin Chih-ping of Hsinchu Senior High School. The residence is a Japanese-style wooden dormitory built around 1922, originally serving as the official residence for the principal of Hsinchu Senior High School. Principal Hsin lived here from his arrival in Taiwan in 1945 until his death in 1985.
