Ding Taishan Temple was built in the 19th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1754 AD) and is the oldest temple in the Taishan area, currently listed as a national historic site of level three. The most recent renovation occurred during the Japanese colonial period in the Showa era, designed by the master craftsman Chen Ying-bin and his apprentices. The architectural layout features a dual entrance with two corridors and two dragon guards, while the interior's wood carvings, stone sculptures, and paintings display exquisite craftsmanship, showcasing the beauty of traditional artisan skills, rich in auspicious meanings. Ding Taishan Temple primarily enshrines Xianying Ancestor, and a grand celebration is held every year on September 18th to honor the ancestor's birthday. Nearby is the Qitiao Trail, a famous ancient path in Taishan that also leads to Yixue Keng and Mingzhi Academy, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of cultural relics in Taishan.

Transportation Methods:1. Take bus 637, 638, 801, 880, 883, 1501, 1503, F211, F217, or F218 and get off at "Taishan Rock" station. (The "Taishan Rock" station refers to "Ding Taishan Rock," not "Xia Taishan Rock" station.) 2. Take the Taoyuan Metro to Taishan Station, transfer to bus 783/786 and get off at Taishan Branch Station, then walk about 3 minutes to the Xia Taishan Rock bus stop to transfer to bus 637/638/880 and get off at Taishan Rock station, then walk about 3 minutes to reach your destination.
