Ding Taishan Temple was built in the 19th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1754) and is the oldest temple in the Taishan area. It is currently listed as a national third-class historic site. The most recent renovation took place during the Showa era of Japanese rule, designed and planned by the master craftsman Chen Ying-bin and his apprentices. The architectural layout features a double courtyard with two corridors and twin dragons, while the internal wood carvings, stone sculptures, and painted decorations are exquisitely crafted, showcasing the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and rich in auspicious meanings. Ding Taishan Temple is dedicated to Xianying Ancestor, and a grand celebration is held annually on September 18 to honor the ancestor's birthday. Nearby is the Qitau Trail, a famous ancient path in Taishan that leads to Yixue Keng and Mingzhi Academy, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of Taishan's cultural heritage.

Nearby, there is a trail called Qitous Trail, which is a famous ancient path in Taishan, leading to Yixue Keng and Mingzhi Academy, allowing visitors to enjoy the cultural heritage of Taishan.

Transportation Methods:1. Take bus 637, 638, 801, 880, 883, 1501, 1503, F211, F217, or F218 and get off at "Taishan Rock" Station. ("Taishan Rock" Station refers to "Ding Taishan Rock," not "Xia Taishan Rock" Station.) 2. Take the Taoyuan MRT to Taishan Station, transfer to bus 783/786 and get off at Taishan Substation Station, then walk about 3 minutes to the Xia Taishan Rock Station to transfer to bus 637/638/880 and get off at Taishan Rock Station, then walk about 3 minutes to reach your destination.
