Ding Tai Mountain Temple was built in the 19th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1754 AD) and is the oldest temple in the Taishan area, currently listed as a national third-level monument. The most recent renovation occurred during the Showa period under Japanese rule, designed and planned by master craftsman Chen Ying-bin. The architectural layout features a two-entrance, two-corridor dual-dragon design, with delicate and exquisite decorations including wood carvings, stone inscriptions, and paintings, showcasing the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and rich auspicious meanings. Transportation Methods:1. Take bus 637, 638, 801, 880, 883, 1501, 1503, F211, F217, or F218 and get off at "Taishan Rock" Station. (The "Taishan Rock" Station refers to "Ding Taishan Rock," not "Shia Taishan Rock" Station.) 2. Take the Taoyuan Metro to Taishan Station, transfer to bus 783/786 and get off at Taishan Substation, then walk about 3 minutes to the "Shia Taishan Rock" bus stop. Transfer to bus 637/638/880 and get off at Taishan Rock Station, then walk about 3 minutes to arrive.
