Ding Tai Mountain Rock was built in the 19th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1754 AD) and is the oldest temple in the Taishan area, currently listed as a national third-level historic site. The most recent renovations took place during the Showa era under Japanese rule, planned and designed by the renowned craftsman Chen Ying-bin. The architectural layout features a two-entry, two-corridor design with twin dragon guardians. The interior decorations, including wood carvings, stone carvings, and paintings, are exquisite and delicate, showcasing the beauty of traditional craftsmanship and rich in auspicious symbolism. Ding Tai Mountain Rock primarily enshrines Xianying Patriarch, and a grand celebration is held annually on September 18 to honor the Patriarch's birthday. Nearby, there is the Qitou Trail, a well-known ancient path in Taishan, which also leads to Yixue Keng and Mingzhi Academy, allowing visitors to appreciate the beauty of Taishan's cultural relics.

Transportation Methods:1. Take bus 637, 638, 801, 880, 883, 1501, 1503, F211, F217, or F218 and get off at "Taishan Yan" Station. ("Taishan Yan" Station refers to "Ding Taishan Yan," not "Xia Taishan Yan" Station.) 2. From Taoyuan Metro - Taishan Station, transfer to bus 783/786 and get off at Taishan Branch Station, then walk about 3 minutes to the bus stop at Xia Taishan Yan and transfer to bus 637/638/880 to get off at Taishan Yan Station, then walk about 3 minutes to arrive.
