Shuqi Road Introduction
Shuzhi Road, located in the Ruifang District of New Taipei City, is a vertical path in the Jiufen area, entirely built with stone steps. Strolling along Shuzhi Road offers a distant view of the mountain town settlement, and numerous specialty tea houses and the Shengping Theater are located along this road. On either side, you will find red brick and wooden buildings that evoke the nostalgic atmosphere of the 1940s and 1950s. At night, the red lanterns hanging along the street are lit, creating a pure and tranquil ambiance, reminiscent of a time tunnel back to the past. This unique "Feng" character-shaped road serves as a direct path in Jiufen and consists of over 300 stone steps. Many scenic tea houses are stationed along this street, and at the old trail junction (the entrance of Jishan Street), there is a viewing platform that allows you to admire the continuous scenery of the North Coast from Jiufen. At the intersection of Shuzhi Road and Qingbian Road, you can see one of Jiufen's famous buildings, the Shengping Theater.
