Liulang Boulevard Trail Introduction
Liulang Trail, located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, is one of the routes of the Danshan Historic Trail. The entrance is next to Parking Lot No. 9. "Liulang" is derived from the homophone of "liulong" (流籠), which refers to a tourist trail renovated from the ancient path at the bottom of Liulong Road. This path was originally created by the mountain residents who went down the mountain to purchase supplies. In the past, mining and transportation of goods utilized a "liulong" rail system to address issues of steep gradients that made it difficult for manpower to carry loads. This is a scenic trail renovated from the old Liulong Road, made by the ancestors who opened paths while going down the mountain to buy goods. Years ago, Jiufen Keng was also a mining area, which fell into decline due to low output. However, the newly reconstructed mountain path offers visitors a fresh experience. Upon reaching the summit, two observation decks provide views of Keelung, Ruifang Mountain City, and the seaside, which are open and beautiful.
