Located in Dingzilan Valley of Yuhangli, it can be reached by traveling along Highway 102 towards Gongliao, turning into Beisanjiao Road approximately two kilometers after reaching Dingzilan Valley. This winding, picturesque valley features clear and moderately deep waters, surrounded by towering green mountains and dense forests that are lush and vibrant. Within the woods, there are even hidden orchids, making it an ideal summer retreat for activities such as swimming, shrimp catching, barbecuing, and camping. Every summer, it attracts visitors from various places looking to cool off, play in the water, and have picnics. Through harmonious coexistence with the natural environment, Dinglan Valley exemplifies a modern ideal.

Dinglan Valley Introduction

Dinglan Valley is located in Yuhang Village of the Shuangxi District, a scenic spot that combines natural beauty and ecological landscaping. Situated in Dingzilan Keng, it can be reached by heading along Provincial Highway 102 for about two kilometers from Shuangxi towards Gongliao, then turning onto County Road 39. It was once one of the Eight Scenic Views of Shuangxi. Surrounded by green mountains and with clear waters, it serves as a popular destination for summer water activities. The Dinglan Valley Old Trail was the old path used by residents of Dingzilan Keng to travel to Qianzhen Keng. The trail follows the stream, and remnants of an old settlement can still be seen today. This winding and picturesque valley features crystal-clear waters, and during the blooming season of wild ginger flowers, the air is filled with a subtle floral fragrance accompanied by the sound of flowing water, which refreshes the spirit.

Transportation Methods：【Public Transportation】Take the North Link Railway towards Hualien and Taitung, get off at Shuangxi Station, and walk approximately 2.8 kilometers. 【By Car】1. National Highway No. 3 → Shiding Interchange → Turn left onto Pingxi → County Route 106 → Shifenliao → Turn right onto Shuangxi → Pingshuang Tunnel → Shuangxi Junior High School → Head towards Fulong on County Route 102, and turn right after 1.5 kilometers. 2. National Highway No. 1 → Badudu Interchange → Rui-Badu Highway, Houmu Highway (County Route 37) → Shuangxi Junior High School → Head towards Fulong → County Route 102, and turn right after 1.5 kilometers.
