Bu Yan Pavilion Introduction
Buxianting is located near the intersection of Shuangxi and Jiufen on Taiwan Provincial Highway 102. It was named by Mr. Jian Huaxiang, the former village chief of Shuangxi District, taking its name from a line in a poem by Li Bai that means "neither of us tires of looking at each other." From one side, it overlooks the beautiful scenery of the entire Shuangxi District, while from the other side, it offers a distant view of Ruifang. On clear days, one can even see the faraway blue sea, and at specific times, the sea of clouds can be seen as well, making it truly deserving of the name "Buxianting." Shuangxi is rich in both natural beauty and talented individuals, featuring a mountain resembling a knife with a blade connected to a handle, referred to by locals as "Cai Dao Lun." If one looks closely, near Shuangxi Elementary School, there is also a Bat Mountain that resembles a bat spreading its wings. Additionally, the famous "Spring Colors of Diaoshan," which is one of the Eight Scenic Spots, is nearby at Sandiaoling. Further afar, on the ridge toward Keelung, a small pavilion can be spotted atop the renowned Dadumeiren Mountain. Interestingly, this is also the endpoint of the Shuangxi section of Highway 102, and just a few steps further is the boundary of Jiufen. All these spectacular views can only be enjoyed from Buxianting.
