Beixin Organic Leisure Farm Introduction
Beixin Organic Leisure Farm is managed by Mr. Jian Liansheng, the winner of the Shennong Award in 2005, and focuses on organic vegetable and fruit cultivation as well as the promotion of organic farming. The farm carefully plans a series of organic vegetable and fruit production tours to guide visitors through the farm, explaining the production process of organic produce and sharing personal planting experiences. In addition, the farm offers many rural experience activities where children can roll up their pants and sleeves to learn agricultural skills from farmers, such as tilling the soil, planting vegetables, and harvesting—all essential steps in the cultivation process. They can also use fallen leaves and branches as creative materials to imagine and create unique handmade dyed fabrics, or pick up hammers to make toys reminiscent of their grandparents' childhood. When they're tired, they can enjoy making tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) or eating roasted sweet potatoes together with family, making it a perfect place for parent-child fun.
