Beitou Organic Leisure Farm Introduction
Beishi Organic Leisure Farm is operated by Mr. Jian Liansheng, a winner of the Shennong Award in 2005, and focuses primarily on organic vegetable and fruit cultivation as well as the promotion of organic farming. The farm has carefully planned a series of organic vegetable and fruit production tours, guiding visitors through the farm, explaining the production process of organic fruits and vegetables, and sharing personal planting experiences. In addition, the farm has organized various rural experience activities where children can roll up their sleeves and learn essential farming skills, such as soil turning, vegetable planting, and harvesting. They can also use fallen leaves and branches as creative materials to make unique handcrafted dyed fabrics. Additionally, they can take a hammer to create toys reminiscent of their grandparents' childhood or enjoy making tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) and eating roasted sweet potatoes with their family, making it an excellent place for family fun.
