Jinxiu Village Cultural Park Introduction
Jinxiuzhuang Cultural Park is located in Tamsui Wayaokeng, covering an area of over 2,000 ping. The park is lush with green grass, blooming flowers, and majestic trees. The owner has devoted 32 years to meticulously building the park, integrating rare stone sculptures from his collection with the natural landscape. The area features pavilions, ponds, caves, stone steps, poetry and calligraphy, as well as Buddhist and lion statues, creating a serene and ancient atmosphere that blends craft aesthetics, natural ecology, and recreational leisure, making it an open-air museum. Wayaokeng was once a famous brick and tile kiln in Tamsui, but gradually faded due to the changes of the times. This mysterious estate, located in Wayaokeng, was once a hillside area and still retains a historic artillery base and tunnels from the Japanese colonial period. Under the careful planning and construction by the owner, various materials and existing structures harmoniously combine to create the garden's present scenery. The design of the park includes pavilions, ponds, viewing platforms, streams, gardening, trails, and fields. It also features personal collections of Buddhist statues, stone lions, and stone crafts within the park. In 2021, after Mr. Chuang Wunan's continuous construction for two to three decades, Jinxiuzhuang Cultural Park officially transformed into a cultural park, with a grand opening ceremony held on April 17. The park is designed with a two-story fine exhibition hall, suitable for both flat and three-dimensional displays. The chairman of the park decided to dedicate the first exhibition at the opening to the members of the Craftsmen Association he leads, allowing these living national treasures, local craft preservation registrants, and members with exceptional craftsmanship to witness the fruits of their enduring dedication over the years. In the future, the park will open for visits, sharing with the public its pavilions, garden rocks, stream pathways, and will arrange various themed cultural exhibitions during festive occasions, allowing beauty to spread throughout every corner of the estate and enabling visitors to experience tranquility and beauty, partaking in a cultural feast of aesthetics together.
