Dahua Station Introduction
The Pingxi Branch Railway was originally constructed by the Taiwan Mining Company to transport coal. After being taken over by the government, it once faced abandonment but later developed into a railway branch line with significant tourist value. Each small station along the line carries a strong sense of antiquity. The Dahua area, which now has fewer than ten households, originally did not have a station but was established in 1949 due to the mining of coal at Dahua. In 1994, due to unprofitability, it was changed to an unmanned service station. Except on holidays, Dahua usually has very few visitors, allowing one to fully enjoy the sweet and fresh air while listening to the symphony of nature.
