Dahua Station Introduction
The Pingxi Branch Line was originally built by the Taiyang Mining Company for coal transportation. After the government took over its operation, it faced the possibility of abandonment but later evolved into a railway branch line with significant tourist value. Each small station along the line is steeped in a rich historical ambiance. The Dahua area, which originally had no station, was established in 1949 due to coal mining operations. In 1994, it was changed to an unstaffed call station due to insufficient operational efficiency. Aside from holidays, Dahua is very sparsely populated on regular days, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the sweet, fresh air and listen to the symphony of nature while strolling through the area.
