Shuangxi Old Street Introduction
Shuangxi Old Street, located in the Shuangxi District of New Taipei City, is near the local faith center, the San Zhong Temple. It is characterized by well-preserved traditional architecture, including the century-old Lin Yi He Tang traditional Chinese medicine shop, the nearby Zhou Family Ancient Residence, and Shuangxi Church. In the past, Chang'an Street was very bustling, lined with various shops along its short stretch; at the end of the street was the old ferry terminal. Unlike the crowded and commercialized Shenkeng Old Street and Pingxi Old Street, Shuangxi Old Street offers a serene living atmosphere, making it suitable for slowing down and enjoying a low-carbon travel experience on foot or by bicycle.
