Located behind Lingjiao Station, the Cai Family Western-style House is a beautiful red brick building. Sharp-eyed visitors may notice that many television dramas have been filmed here, especially since the house features arched corridors and a spacious courtyard, making it perfect for shooting nostalgic scenes from the 1930s and 1940s, with imaginations of men and women in oiled hair and qipaos. Many people take the train to Pingxi, speeding past without stopping at Lingjiao Station. By getting off at Lingjiao Station and walking to the mountain town, you can find the red brick building "Cai Family Western-style House" with its arched corridor and spacious courtyard. A short walk around the town takes less than an hour, and nearby are ancient bridges and waterfalls that can be reached via small paths leading to Pingxi.
