Located on Jingtong Old Street, the "Jingtong Railway Story Museum" is run by He Yuanfu, who is a railway enthusiast himself. After negotiations with Taiwan Railways, he opened this quaint railway story museum at the final stop of the Pingxi branch line, Jingtong Station. The Jingtong Railway Story Museum features a two-story wooden house built in the style of the 1960s, deliberately creating a nostalgic atmosphere, selling beautiful memories of the past. Items such as toy trains shaped like train cars, Da Tong Bao Bao, wooden postcards, and nostalgic train tickets are all available here, surrounded by various merchandise themed around railways and coal mines, making them the perfect souvenirs to commemorate your visit. The mailbox at the entrance and the large railway staff figurine are must-take photo spots for tourists. The shop owner has thoughtfully provided a bench here for everyone to take photos comfortably.
