Located on Jingtong Old Street, the "Jingtong Railway Story Museum" is run by He Yuanfu, a railway enthusiast himself. After negotiations with Taiwan Railways, he opened a charming railway story museum at the last stop of the Pingxi Line, Jingtong Station. The Jingtong Railway Story Museum is designed to resemble a two-story wooden house from the 1960s, intentionally creating a strong sense of nostalgia, selling beautiful memories of the past. It offers various themed merchandise such as a train carriage-shaped spinning top, a Datan baby, wooden postcards, nostalgic train tickets, and more. These items, revolving around the railway and coal mine themes, make for the best souvenirs to prove your visit. The mailbox at the entrance and the large railway steward figurine are must-take photo spots for visitors. The shop has thoughtfully placed a bench here for everyone to take pictures conveniently.
