Located on Jingtong Old Street, the Jingtong Railway Story House is owned by He Yuanfu, who is a railway enthusiast himself. After negotiating with Taiwan Railways, he opened a quaint railway story museum at the last stop of the Pingxi Branch Line, Jingtong Station. The Jingtong Railway Story House is designed to resemble a two-story wooden house from the 1960s, intentionally creating a strong nostalgic atmosphere, selling beautiful memories from the past. Here, you can find items such as train carriage-shaped spinning tops, Tatung babies, wooden postcards, nostalgic tickets, and various themed souvenirs related to railways and coal mining, making them the best gifts to prove your visit. The mailbox at the entrance and the large railway service staff figurine are must-take photos for tourists, and the shop owner has thoughtfully placed a bench here for everyone to comfortably take pictures.
