Jingtong Railway Story House Introduction
Located on Jingtong Old Street, the "Jingtong Railway Story Museum" is owned by He Yuanfu, who is a railway enthusiast. After negotiations with Taiwan Railways, he opened a quaint railway story museum at Jingtong Station, the last stop on the Pingxi Line. The Jingtong Railway Story Museum is designed as a two-story wooden house reminiscent of the 1960s, intentionally creating a strong nostalgic atmosphere, selling beautiful memories of the past. Here you can find a variety of products such as toy trains shaped like train cars, Daito Baby figurines, wooden postcards, and nostalgic train tickets, all themed around railways and coal mining, making them the best souvenirs to prove your visit. The mailbox at the entrance and the large railway staff mannequin are must-photograph spots for visitors, and the shop owner kindly provides a long bench for everyone to take pictures.
