Wanggu Waterfall Introduction
⚠ The area in front of Wanggu Waterfall is undergoing slope stabilization and trail improvement work, leading to partial closures of the Wanggu Observing Waterfall Trail (the section toward Lingjiao Liao Mountain Trail is not affected). Please refrain from entering the closed areas for safety. ⚠ Wanggu Station is the quietest stop on the Pingxi branch line and was once bustling due to coal mining activities. The nearby Qinghe Suspension Bridge is a relic of the coal mining boom. To reach "Wanggu Waterfall," you can follow the industrial road alongside the railway, ascend the wooden stairs on the boardwalk, and reach the trail that leads to the river valley below. This area features a unique curtain-style waterfall landscape formed by the specific horizontal rock layers and variations in hardness, cascading from the top of the cliff into a clear pool that reflects an emerald green color like a gemstone—making it a natural makeup for influencers. Listening to the slow, tranquil sounds of the flowing water feels like being in a hidden paradise.
