Wanggu Waterfall Introduction

⚠ Due to the collapse of the slope in front of Wanggu Waterfall and the improvement project for the trails, some sections of the Wanggu Viewing Waterfall Trail are closed (the route towards Lingjiao Liaoshan Trail is not affected). Please do not enter the closed sections for safety reasons. ⚠ Wanggu Station is the quietest little station on the Pingxi Line. In the past, this area thrived due to coal mining, and the nearby Qinghe Suspension Bridge is a relic of the prosperous coal mining era. To reach "Wanggu Waterfall," you can walk along the industrial road beside the railway, ascend the wooden plank trail steps, and reach the lower stream valley via the hillside trail. The unique horizontal sedimentary rock layers and the differences in hardness create a curtain-like waterfall. Water cascades down from the cliff, forming a pool at the base. The clear water reflects a jewel-like emerald color, making it the most natural makeup for Instagram lovers. Listening to the slow and peaceful sound of the flowing water feels like being in a paradise.
