Wangku Waterfall Introduction

⚠ The trails leading to Wanggu Waterfall are currently closed due to landslides, along with improvements to the trail by our bureau (the section towards Lingjiao Liao Mountain Trail is not affected). Please do not enter the closed areas for safety reasons. ⚠ Wanggu Station is the quietest station on the Pingxi Branch Line, which once thrived due to coal mining. The nearby Qinghe Suspension Bridge is a remnant of the prosperous coal mining era. To reach "Wanggu Waterfall," follow the industrial road alongside the railway, ascend the wooden steps to the hillside trail to reach the stream valley below. This area features a unique curtain-like waterfall landscape formed by distinct horizontal rock layers and differences in rock hardness, with water cascading from the rock top into a pool below, where the clear water reflects a gem-like emerald color. It serves as a natural makeup for social media enthusiasts, and as you listen to the slow and tranquil sound of flowing water, it feels like being in a paradise away from the world.
