New Taipei City Huwei Disaster Prevention Promotion Theme Pavilion Introduction
1. This is the city's first disaster prevention advocacy theme museum, located by the banks of the Tamsui River, with the historical site "Dr. Mackay's Landing" in front of the venue. The exterior of the building is designed in the shape of a fire truck, and there is a fire safety mascot mailbox at the entrance, providing postcard mailing services! Inside the venue, there are two major themed games: the "immersive projection interactive game" and the "VR virtual reality interactive game," which educate and entertain the public about correct disaster prevention concepts. Additionally, there is a 3D painted photo wall and cute rhinoceros figurines for visitors to take memorable photos with! 2. Immersive Projection Interactive Experience: This experience projects images onto a wall using a projector, and employs projection sensing technology for participants to interact with the projected options by touching the wall. This game integrates knowledge of fire prevention, typhoon preparedness, earthquake readiness, and carbon monoxide awareness through a "Disaster Prevention Genius" themed game with four themed levels, incorporating various disaster scenarios in daily life to instill disaster prevention concepts during the experience. 3. VR Virtual Reality Interactive Experience: Utilizing VR headsets and controllers, participants are immersed in real disaster scenarios, guided through the game to learn appropriate responses. The fire scene changes rapidly, often leading to drastically different outcomes based on split-second decisions. How do you choose to escape from a fire? When encountering drowning situations, how can you save precious lives while ensuring your own safety? "Fire Escape" and "Drowning Rescue" are two major challenges waiting for you!
