New Taipei City Huwei Disaster Prevention Promotion Center Introduction
1. This is the city's first disaster prevention promotional theme museum, located by the Tamsui River, with the historical site "Dr. Mackay's Landing Site" in front of the venue. The exterior of the building is designed in the shape of a fire truck, and there's a fire safety mascot mailbox at the entrance that provides postcard mailing services! Inside, the museum features two main themed games: "Immersive Projection Interactive Game" and "VR Virtual Reality Interactive Game," promoting correct disaster prevention concepts in a fun and educational way. Additionally, there is a 3D painted photo wall and cute rhino figurines for guests to take photos with! 2. Immersive Projection Interactive Experience: Utilizing a projector to project images onto the wall and interactive touch through projection sensing, participants select options indicated on the projected wall to interact with the game. This game integrates knowledge about fire prevention, typhoon readiness, earthquake preparedness, and CO exposure prevention through a "Disaster Prevention Brain" themed game with four thematic levels, embedding various daily disaster prevention scenarios to instill disaster preparedness awareness during the experience. 3. VR Virtual Reality Interactive Experience: Using VR headsets and controllers, participants are immersed in simulated disaster scenarios and are guided through the game to learn correct response concepts. The situation in a fire can change rapidly, leading to vastly different outcomes; how should one choose to escape from a fire? In the case of drowning, how can one save precious lives while ensuring their own safety? "Fire Escape" and "Drowning Rescue," two major challenges await you!
