New Taipei City Huwei Disaster Prevention Education Theme Hall Introduction
1. This is the city's first disaster prevention education theme museum, located by the Tamsui River, with the historical site "Dr. Mackay's Landing" situated in front of the venue. The exterior of the venue is designed in the shape of a fire truck, and there is a fire-fighting mascot mailbox at the entrance, providing postcard mailing services! Inside the museum, there are two main themed games: "Immersive Projection Interactive Game" and "VR Virtual Reality Interactive Game," which promote the correct concepts of disaster prevention in an entertaining way. Additionally, there is a 3D painting photo wall and a cute rhinoceros figurine where visitors can take photos together! 2. Immersive Projection Interactive Experience: Using projectors to display images on the wall, participants can interact with the game by touching the projected options on the wall. This game integrates knowledge of fire prevention, typhoon preparedness, earthquake safety, and CO detection, featuring themed games based on the concept of "Disaster Prevention Brain" with four themed levels, incorporating various everyday disaster scenarios to deeply instill disaster prevention concepts during the experience. 3. VR Virtual Reality Interactive Experience: With VR headsets and controllers, participants can feel as if they are in disaster situations and learn proper response concepts through guided gameplay. The fire scene can change rapidly, leading to entirely different outcomes based on quick decisions. How should one choose to escape from a fire scene? When encountering a drowning situation, how can one save precious lives while ensuring their own safety? "Fire Escape" and "Drowning Rescue," two major challenges await you!
