New Taipei City Huwei Disaster Prevention Promotion Center Introduction
1. This is the city's first disaster prevention-themed museum, located by the Tamsui River, with the historical site "Dr. Mackay's Landing" in front. The exterior of the museum is designed in the shape of a fire truck, and there is a fire mascot mailbox at the entrance that provides postcard mailing services! The interior features two main themed games: "Immersive Projection Interactive Game" and "VR Virtual Reality Interactive Game," which promote correct disaster prevention concepts in an entertaining way. In addition, there is a 3D painting photo wall and cute rhinoceros figurines for photo opportunities with everyone! 2. Immersive Projection Interactive Experience: This game uses a projector to project images onto the wall and allows participants to interact by touching the projected options on the wall. The game integrates disaster prevention knowledge concerning fire, typhoons, earthquakes, and carbon monoxide (CO) with the theme of "Disaster Prevention Brain" alongside four themed levels, incorporating various real-life disaster scenarios to instill disaster prevention concepts during the experience. 3. VR Virtual Reality Interactive Experience: Using VR headsets and controllers, participants can feel as if they are present at a disaster scene, guided by the game to learn correct response concepts. In a fire scene that changes rapidly, decisions can lead to completely different outcomes; how should one choose to escape from a fire? When encountering drowning situations, how can one save precious lives while ensuring their own safety? "Fire Escape" and "Drowning Rescue," two major challenges await you!
