Taichung City Zhongshan Hall Introduction
Taichung Chungshan Hall is located next to the historically rich Zhongzheng Park and officially opened on April 1, 1989. It covers an area of 33,564.94 square meters with a building area of 16,607.5 square meters, featuring a beautiful quarter-circle architectural design. The building consists of two basement levels and three above-ground levels. Inside, Taichung Chungshan Hall has a spacious lobby with a high ceiling and a double-deck audience seating area that can accommodate 1,581 people for performances. The hall's stage, lighting, and rigging systems are of international standards, making it one of the most well-equipped theaters in central Taiwan and a preferred venue for renowned domestic and international performing groups in the region.
