Zhongshan Hall, Taichung City Introduction
Taichung Zhongshan Hall is located next to the historic Zhongzheng Park and was officially opened on April 1, 1989. It covers an area of 33,564.94 square meters with a building area of 16,607.5 square meters, featuring a beautiful curved architecture resembling a quarter circle. The building consists of two underground levels and three above-ground levels. Inside Taichung Zhongshan Hall, there is a spacious and high ceiling lobby, along with a double-tier audience seating that can accommodate 1,581 spectators for performances. The stage, lighting, and hanging systems at Zhongshan Hall are equipped to international standards, making it one of the most well-equipped theaters in central Taiwan and a preferred venue for renowned domestic and international performing groups to perform.
