Taichung Chung Shan Hall is located next to the historically significant Chung Cheng Park and was officially opened on April 1, 1989. It covers an area of 33,564.94 square meters, with a building area of 16,607.5 square meters, featuring a beautiful curved architecture that resembles a quarter circle. The structure consists of two underground levels and three above-ground levels. Inside Taichung Chung Shan Hall, there is a spacious and high-ceilinged lobby, as well as a double-tiered audience seating that can accommodate 1,581 people for performances. The stage, lighting, and suspension systems at Chung Shan Hall are of international standards, making it one of the most functionally complete theaters in Central Taiwan, often chosen by renowned domestic and international performing arts groups for their performances in the region. It covers an area of 33,564.94 square meters with a building area of 16,607.5 square meters, featuring a beautiful arc-shaped exterior in the form of a quarter circle. The structure consists of two underground levels and three above-ground levels. Inside Zhongshan Hall, there is an expansive high-ceilinged lobby and a double-tier audience seating that can accommodate 1,581 people for performances. The stage, lighting, and rigging systems at Zhongshan Hall are of international standards, making it one of the most well-equipped theaters in central Taiwan. It has always been a preferred venue for renowned domestic and international performing groups in this region.
