Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium Introduction
Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium located in the Beitun District, at the intersection of Chongde Road and Huan Zhong Road. Completed in 2006, it was built and owned by the Taichung City Government and operates under the management of the Wuyang Group. It is one of the main venues for international baseball events in Taiwan. Currently, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium serves as the primary venue for the Taichung Wagor Baseball Team, a top-tier amateur baseball team in Taiwan, as well as the home field for the Chinese Professional Baseball League's Chinatrust Brothers. The Chinese Baseball Association showcased this brand-new stadium during the 16th Intercontinental Cup, a world-class event, demonstrating Taiwan's progress and determination in baseball development. As Taiwan's leading baseball facility meeting international standards, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is also the country's first baseball stadium designed in an American-style architecture. It features a wide viewing area, ample surrounding space, and a landscape design modeled after a baseball seam, symbolizing the stadium's iconic status.
