Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium Introduction
Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is a baseball stadium located in the Beitun District of Taichung City, at the intersection of Chongde Road and Huanzhong Road. Completed in 2006, it was built and owned by the Taichung City Government and is operated by the Wu-Yang Group. It is one of the main venues for international baseball events in Taiwan. Currently, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium serves as the primary venue for the Taichung Wagor Bears, a top-level amateur baseball team in Taiwan, as well as the home ground for the Chinatrust Brothers in the Chinese Professional Baseball League. The stadium made its debut by hosting the 16th Intercontinental Cup, an international-level tournament, showcasing Taiwan's progress and determination in baseball development to the world. As one of Taiwan's premier baseball stadiums that meets international standards, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is also the first baseball stadium in the country to be designed in an American style. The grandstand offers a wide view, and the surrounding space is expansive, featuring a landscape design reminiscent of baseball stitches, symbolizing the landmark status of the Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.
