Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium Introduction
Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is a baseball field located in the Beitun District, at the intersection of Chongde Road and Huanzhong Road. Completed in 2006, it was constructed and is owned by the Taichung City Government, operated by the Wuyang Group. It serves as one of the main venues for international baseball events in Taiwan. Currently, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is the primary venue for the Taiwan Professional Baseball League's Taichung Wagor team and the home ground for the Chinatrust Brothers. The Chinese Baseball Association used the 16th Intercontinental Cup Baseball Championship, an international-level event, as the inaugural showcase for this new stadium, demonstrating Taiwan's progress and determination in baseball development. As the top baseball stadium in Taiwan that meets international standards, Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is also the first baseball field in the country designed in an American style. The stands offer a broad view, with a spacious surrounding area, and the landscape design features baseball stitching patterns above the field, symbolizing the iconic nature of the Intercontinental Baseball Stadium.
