Taichung City Library Xing'an Branch Introduction
The Xing'an Branch (formerly known as the Beitun Children’s Branch) is located in the Beitun Children's Park. Nestled in this lush park, the Xing'an Branch has transformed into a vibrant pure white building with a distinct artistic vibe, bringing a refreshing touch of green to the busy city. It features the work "Window Scenery and Sun" by local artist Wu Chien-Yi, which creatively combines colorful collages with the building's structure to form a circular flower-shaped window view. This design creates depth within the space, allowing visitors to gaze out at the natural scenery of the park. The transparent interface interacts with light, producing changing light and shadow effects over time, as the flowing passage of time transforms color blocks into beautiful everyday landscapes. This library integrates reading, art, and culture, inviting you to experience an intimate rendezvous between words and greenery at the Xing'an Branch.
