Taichung City Library Xing'an Branch Introduction
The Xing'an Branch (formerly known as the Beitun Children's Branch) is located in Beitun Children's Park. Surrounded by lush greenery, the Xing'an Branch has transformed into a vibrant all-white building with a distinctive artistic style, bringing a refreshing touch of nature to the bustling city. It features the work "Window View with Sunny Weather" by local artist Wu Chien-yi, which combines colorful collage elements with architectural structure to create a circular flower-shaped window view, adding depth to the space. From these windows, visitors can gaze upon the natural scenery of the park, with the transparent interface creating changing light and shadow effects throughout the day. The flow of time is transformed into beautiful daily landscapes through the vibrant color blocks. This library combines reading, art, and culture, inviting you to experience an intimate rendezvous between words and greenery at the Xing'an Branch.
