Mu Xin Spring Leisure Farm Introduction
Mu Xin Spring covers a vast area of over 8 hectares. Standing on the restaurant platform, one can see lush, pristine forests all around. The farm is located at an altitude of 600 to 900 meters, with the highest point offering a view of the Wine Barrel Mountain to the south, Taichung Port to the west, and the Xueshan Mountain Range to the east. The eastern side of the farm is about 300 meters above the Dajia Riverbed, providing views that rival those seen from Taipei 101 overlooking the city. The evening landscape is particularly stunning, showcasing the colorful lights of the Taichung basin, while the night sky is filled with stars and bright constellations. The farm is nestled among layers of mountains, where one can admire sunrises in the morning and the beautiful hues of sunsets in the evening. Standing on the peak, one can often witness clouds rolling in the valleys, accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature, including gentle birdsong and the charming calls of bamboo chickens, along with the babbling of the Dajia River, creating a sense of tranquility and happiness that cleanses the soul. To preserve the original scenery of the mountains, the pavilions, paths, and roofs have all been constructed in a simple and rustic style to blend into the natural environment. The farm provides a parking area, and apart from the spacious platform, the original 2-kilometer farm road has been upgraded to a flat 4-meter-wide road. On both sides of the road, there are not only tender grass and blooming flowers but also cherry blossoms, azaleas, wild lilies, lavender, maple trees, daylilies, and tung flowers, among others. The farm features more than a dozen pavilions and several public restrooms to provide visitors with a comfortable environment. There is also a 1-kilometer-long path that guides guests into another breathtaking experience. Depending on the terrain, different perspectives from various angles present different layouts and lines, continually surprising visitors. The mission of the farm is not only to share beautiful scenery but also to serve as a sanctuary for busy urban dwellers, offering them a retreat from the urban hustle and bustle, a place to relax and refresh their weary souls, hence the name "Mu Xin Spring."
