Muxin Spring Leisure Farm Introduction

Muxin Spring covers a vast area of over eight hectares. Standing on the restaurant platform, one can gaze at the lush green virgin forests that envelop the landscape. The farm is located at an altitude between 600 to 900 meters, where from the highest point, you can look south towards the Zhuoshui River, west towards Taichung Port, and east towards the Xueshan Mountain. The eastern side of the farm is about 300 meters above the bed of the Dajia River, providing a sweeping view that rivals that of standing at Taipei 101 looking over Taipei City. The evening scenery is even more breathtaking, allowing one to overlook the vibrant lights of the Taichung basin while gazing up at a sky filled with stars and shining constellations. Situated amidst layered mountains, the farm offers a view of the sunrise in the morning, witnessing the vigor of the first light, and watching the sunset in the evening, with its beautiful hues. Standing at the peak, one can often see the clouds swirling through the mountains. Besides the visual delights, the auditory experience is equally enriching, with the gentle sounds of birds, especially the charming calls of bamboo chickens, and the soothing flow of the Dajia River, emanating the wonderful melodies of nature that cleanse the soul and bring relaxation. To preserve the original beauty of the mountains, the pavilions, trails, and rooftops here are all crafted in a rustic and simple style, blending harmoniously with the surrounding nature. The farm is equipped with a parking area, and in addition to the spacious platform, the original 2-kilometer farm road has been renovated into a 4-meter wide flat road. Along the road, there are not only the original grass and flowers, but also new plantings of cherry blossoms, azaleas, wild lilies, lavender, maple trees, daylilies, and tung flowers. The farm features over a dozen pavilions and several public restrooms, providing visitors with a comfortable environment for exploring. There is a 1-kilometer long trail that leads visitors into another exciting section, where different perspectives offer varying presentations and lines of sight down to the restaurant, always surprising guests. The mission of the farm is not only to share the beautiful scenery but also to become a sanctuary in the hearts of busy urban dwellers, allowing those living in concrete jungles to escape the noise, relax, and cleanse their weary souls, hence the name "Muxin Spring."
