At Mu Xin Quen, you can enjoy the fun of being close to nature. Strolling along the wooden steps designed in the park and the flower path allows you to appreciate the beautiful scenery of blooming flowers. Flowers bloom throughout the year: from January to March is cherry blossom season, April to May is the tung flower season, March to October is lavender season, and November to December is maple season. There are also cinnamon trees, wild ginger flowers, peony trees, and maple trees, making it a place you would want to linger. For those who wish to enjoy the sights, there’s no need to travel to Hualien and Taitung to see the daylilies; you can also see fields of daylilies here. Typically, the blooming period of daylilies is only two months, but Mr. Huang, the owner of Mu Xin Quen, has skillfully extended it to four months using his gardening knowledge, satisfying visitors' flower-viewing needs from May to August. If you visit during daylily season, you can also taste dishes made with daylilies! If you come in May, remember not to rush away; not only can you see a sea of golden daylilies during the day, but at night, you can also enjoy the beautiful sight of fireflies dancing in the sky. For those who want to see the beautiful glow at night, accommodations are available at Mu Xin Quen. The lodging is suitable for small groups or families, providing comfortable rooms for four people.

Muxin Spring Leisure Farm Introduction

Muxin Spring covers an extensive area of over 8 hectares. Standing on the restaurant platform, you can see the lush green primitive forests all around. The farm is located at an altitude of 600 to 900 meters, where from the highest point to the south, you can see the Zhaotun Mountain, to the west, a distant view of Taichung Port, and to the east, the Great Snow Mountain. The farm has a drop of over 300 meters from the eastern side to the riverbed of Dajia River, providing a breathtaking view comparable to looking down at Taipei City from Taipei 101. The scenery at dusk is even more stunning, as it overlooks the entire sea of colorful lights in the Taichung Basin; looking up reveals a sky full of stars and bright constellations. The farm, located atop layered mountains, offers a view of the sunrise in the morning, seeing the vitality of the first light; at dusk, you can watch the sunset, appreciating the soft hues of the colorful sunset skies. Standing on the peak, you often see the undulating sea of clouds in the mountains. In addition to the visual enjoyment, the auditory stimulation is another layer of happiness—listening to the gentle chirping of birds, especially the lovely calls of bamboo chickens, along with the babbling sounds of the Dajia River, delivers the wonderful sounds of nature that can cleanse the soul and bring infinite comfort. To preserve the original scenery of the mountains, the pavilions, pathways, and roofs are built with simple and primitive tones to blend into this beautiful natural environment. The farm has a parking lot, and aside from the spacious platform, the original 2-kilometer farm road has been paved into a 4-meter-wide flat road. On both sides of the road, besides the existing tender grass, fresh flowers, and ancient trees, there are also planted cherry blossoms, rhododendrons, wild lilies, lavender, maple trees, golden needle flowers, and tung flowers. The farm features more than a dozen pavilions and several public restrooms, providing travelers with a comfortable environment for park activities. The farm also has a 1-kilometer-long pathway that leads visitors into another climax, where different angles of descent from the restaurant reveal varying arrangements and lines, always surprising the onlooker. The purpose of the farm is not only to share beautiful scenery but also to hope to become a piece of pure land in the hearts of busy urban dwellers, allowing those living in concrete jungles to escape the hustle and bustle, relax, and wash away the fatigue of their minds, hence the name "Muxin Spring."
