Zhuotong Mountain Introduction
Jiu Tun Mountain, with an elevation of 977 meters, does not resemble a wine barrel but rather consists of peaks that resemble nine water buckets. The winding industrial roads add to its unique charm. The mountaintop platform features a recreational farm and guest houses surrounded by lush greenery. From the observation deck, visitors can overlook the entirety of Greater Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou, with the mountains, hills, and rivers spread out before them. Ships traveling across the Taiwan Strait can often be seen clearly. During the day, one can enjoy the morning light over the sea of clouds, while the evening offers a stunning orange sunset, and at night, the beautiful night view captivates visitors. Especially after rain, the sea of clouds often envelops the mountains, with peaks occasionally rising above them, resembling small islands in the sea. The ever-changing sea of clouds in the valleys is truly mesmerizing.
