Chau-Teng-Keng Leisure Agricultural Area was awarded the Growth Award in the recreational agricultural area evaluation in both 2018 and 2021. Located in the mountains, it is home to various insects often found in mountainous regions, with the most notable being the fireflies. In recent years, the area has been actively promoting firefly restoration, making it a top-quality ecological resource. Thanks to the natural springs of Chau-Teng-Keng and An-Ying-Keng, the original forest in the mountains remains intact, and the natural ecology is rich. The peak season for fireflies is in April each year, creating a mesmerizing star-like view, which is one of the ecological tourism features in the area. It also offers a water park for cooling off and enjoying the water, night tours to observe ecological fireflies, orchards for fruit picking and tasting fresh fruits, a farmer's market for purchasing souvenirs, and the An-Ying Mountain Trail for panoramic views of the beautiful mountains. [Transportation Guide] [By Car] From National Highway No. 1, connect to National Highway No. 4 towards Dongshi, continue to the intersection of Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 3 at Fengshi Road, turn right after crossing the Dongshi Bridge into Taiwan Provincial Highway No. 8. After 10.5 km, turn right past Long'an Bridge, then continue uphill on the left side and make a sharp right turn. After passing the Baileng Canal, there will be a fork ahead; keep left and go straight before turning left. Continue straight for about 1 km to reach this leisure agricultural zone.
