"With gentle smiles, warm attitudes, and agile services," Guang San SOGO Department Store is located in the prime Zhonggang commercial district of Greater Taichung. On March 12, 1992, Guang San Construction officially signed a cooperation contract with Japan's SOGO and began planning for the store's opening. The department store building was financed by Guang San Construction, which hired well-known architects to design it meticulously. Construction began on June 19, 1993, and it grandly opened on November 11, 1995. Exclusive Musical Clock: The department store introduces a unique musical clock, where charming dolls from around the world sing cheerful songs to welcome all guests at every hour. Many parents also bring their children to the entrance on the first floor to enjoy the joyous moments brought by the adorable dolls from the musical clock.
