On March 12, 1992, Guangsan Construction officially signed a cooperation contract with Japan's SOGO and began preparing for the store's opening plan. The department store building was financed by Guangsan Construction and designed in collaboration with renowned architects. Construction started on June 19, 1993, and the grand opening took place on November 11, 1995. The exclusive musical clock introduces delightful songs performed by cute dolls from around the world, welcoming guests to Guangsan SOGO every hour. Many parents bring their children to the entrance on the first floor to enjoy the joyful time created by the cute dolls of the musical clock. The establishment of Guangsan SOGO Department Store provides residents of central Taiwan with a friendly, joyful, and comfortable shopping paradise.
