On March 12, 1992, Guang San Construction officially signed a collaboration contract with Japan's SOGO, marking the beginning of the store planning. The department store was funded and constructed by Guang San Construction, which hired renowned architects to design it meticulously. Construction began on June 19, 1993, and the grand opening took place on November 11, 1995. The exclusive music clock, which has been uniquely introduced at Guang San SOGO, features adorable dolls from around the world that sing lively songs every hour to greet all the guests visiting. Many parents also bring their children to enjoy the joyful moments brought by the lovely dolls at the music clock in front of the main entrance on the first floor.
