Established in 1972, the Ching Mei Group primarily engages in casting, construction, shopping malls, and hotels. Prince Construction, founded in 1973, is a well-known large construction company in Taiwan, which later ventured into the hotel industry, successfully investing in and operating five-star hotels. Since 2008, Ching Mei Group has developed the "Ching Mei Eslite Green Park," a comprehensive shopping mall that integrates culture, art, tourism, and living functions. To provide more leisure and cultural creative spaces for Taichung citizens, they collaborated with Prince Construction again in 2011 to launch another complex shopping mall, "The Green Park Mall," from basement level 1 to the 6th floor of the Taichung Evergreen Hotel, combining technology, food, and cultural creativity. This mall is located in the prime business district of Taichung, close to the National Museum of Natural Science and the art museum, rich in cultural atmosphere. Each floor of the mall features unique spatial planning and design, focusing on diverse culinary flavors, clothing accessories, and lifestyle goods, creating a multi-functional marketplace with a cultural and creative vibe. The entire building's exterior and interior are newly designed by top domestic architects and designers, aiming to provide a more diversified service to consumers with a fresh appearance. The Sixth Market is the first traditional wet market in Taiwan to enter a department store, located on the 3rd floor of The Green Park Mall, showcasing a different beauty of traditional markets in a new format. Traditional markets have always been an indispensable part of life in Taiwan, nourishing the lives of local people. The Green Park Mall retains this beautiful traditional spirit while integrating modern space design and facilities to create the unprecedented "Sixth Market." The Sixth Market gathers a variety of goods, including various fresh meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, health grains, snacks, and household goods, all available for purchase in one place. In addition to selling a diverse range of products, it offers unique services that differ from other traditional markets, providing a comprehensive and thoughtful experience for the public.
