Founded in Taichung's First Market, Wanwen Foods is a local brand that has thrived for nearly 70 years and has been passed down through three generations. It is now a representative of local souvenirs in Taichung. With over half a century of skill inheritance, Wanwen carefully selects large white swordfish, picking only sashimi-grade parts, and stirs it with their exclusive self-extracted lard. The ingredients are natural and simple, and the unique processing method creates the renowned golden fish floss. The classic has been reinterpreted, presenting the glory of this well-established brand. In addition to its loyal old customers, Wanwen has also enhanced brand recognition and favorability, expanding its consumer market. With the support of the government, it aims to attract the recognition of young and urban consumers and expand the local brand internationally, allowing more people to discover the high-quality fish floss and the Wanwen brand. In recent years, it has even established a tourism factory, officially opening on January 1, 2021, which is an expansion of the original Dali factory. Among its offerings, the fish ball DIY experience has been particularly favored by young parents. In just a short 20-minute tour, visitors can learn about the production process of fish floss and fish balls through the guide's explanation. After that, the DIY fish ball session is led by a professional, allowing children to make their very first fish ball. During this process, the master demonstrates the gestures for shaping the fish ball, producing a texture that is springy and allows tasting "QQ" fish balls. Of course, participants can also exercise their creativity, making various shapes of fish balls and sharing their unique creations, leaving behind wonderful and happy memories.
