Wanwan Food Tourism Factory Introduction

Founded in Taichung City's First Market, Wanwen Foods is a local brand that has been passed down through three generations over nearly 70 years and is now a representative of local souvenirs in Taichung. With over half a century of skill inheritance, Wanwen carefully selects bigeye tuna, choosing only the sashimi-grade parts, stir-frying them with their exclusive homemade pig fat. The ingredients are simple and natural, and the unique production method creates the famous golden granulated tuna flakes. By recreating the classics, this time-honored brand shines again. Wanwen has not only retained its loyal customers but also enhanced brand awareness and favorability, expanding its consumer market. It hopes to attract young and urban consumers' recognition with government assistance, extending the local brand to the international stage and letting more people know about the high-quality granulated tuna flakes and Wanwen. In recent years, it has established a tourism factory, officially opened on January 1, 2021, as an expansion of the original Dali factory. Among the offerings, the fish ball DIY activity is particularly favored by young parents. During a brief 20-minute guided tour, participants can learn about the production process of tuna flakes and fish balls through the guide's explanation. Following that, there is a fish ball DIY session, where professional chefs lead children to make their very first fish ball. In the process, the chefs demonstrate the proper way to shape fish balls, which ensures they have a certain elasticity, allowing everyone to enjoy "QQ" fish balls. Of course, participants can also unleash their creativity to make various shapes of fish balls and share their creative designs, leaving behind wonderful and joyful memories.
