Mountain Line Bicycle Path (Dedicated Road Section) Introduction
This section of bike lane is part of the Taichung City Mountain Line Bicycle Recreation System, aiming to integrate existing bike routes and connect route gaps. The starting point is from Daping Bridge to the endpoint at Lishan Bridge, with a length of approximately 5 kilometers. Since this section is adjacent to the Dali River and Wujing, it features rich recreational pastoral scenery and riverbank views that create excellent conditions for a dedicated bike path. The Mountain Line Bicycle Path, which runs alongside the mountains and water, is a scenic corridor with aesthetic qualities, color variations, and a relaxing ambiance. It is designed to provide a comfortable shaded environment, high-quality service functions, and engaging facility designs that satisfy the psychological and physiological enjoyment of cyclists. In addition to allowing riders to enjoy the thrill of cycling in the breeze, it also revitalizes idle spaces along the bike path, enhances the quality of the surrounding landscape, effectively integrates nearby scenic resources, and promotes regional tourism development.
