The Taichung City designated historic site, Zhaixing Mountain Villa, is currently undergoing repair work and is closed to the public. Zhaixing Mountain Villa, located next to the Tanyatze Cycling Trail in the Tanzi District of Taichung, is also known as the Tanzi Lin Residence. Covering an area of over 2,000 Ping, it was built in the 10th year of the Tongzhi era (1871) by General Lin Qizhong and took nine years to complete by the 5th year of the Guangxu era (1879), making it over a century old. The villa is a traditional siheyuan (courtyard house) with a complex layout and is especially noted for its exquisite performances in relief sculpture, Jiaozi ware, decorative paintings, and structural design. It is honored as "the top residential house in Taiwan" and has been designated as a city historic site.

Zhaixing Mountain Villa, located next to the Tanyashein Bicycle Path in the Tanzi District of Taichung, is also known as the Tanzi Lin Residence. Covering an area of over 2,000 ping, it was built by General Lin Qizhong in the 10th year of the Tongzhi era (1871) and took nine years to complete by the 5th year of the Guangxu era (1879). With a history of over a century, it is a traditional courtyard building featuring a two-section layout and multiple dragon guards. Its intricate details in relief sculptures, earthenware, decorative paintings, and structural design have earned it the reputation of being "the first among Taiwan's top ten residential houses," leading to its designation as a city historical site.
