Toubiankeng Jiu Tung Shan Bicycle Path Introduction
The total length is approximately 14.5 kilometers. Located in the Jiutong Mountain Scenic Area of Toubiankeng, this mountain cycling path is built utilizing existing industrial roads. It is situated in a low-elevation mountainous area, passing through spots such as Tianyuan Maitreya Temple, Fairy Bridge, Shitou Public Park, Fairy Waterfall, Zhanghu Agricultural Road, and Ziqiang Agricultural Road, allowing riders to fully enjoy a refreshing experience in the mountain and forest scenery. This path is categorized as a challenging and off-road cycling trail, suitable for individuals with better physical fitness. It also connects to County Road 136, making it a must-ride training route for many cyclists looking to challenge themselves with climbs and reach the endpoint of the Taichung section of County Road 136, "Chikandign." Please note that this path is not exclusively for bicycles; the route is continuously undulating with several sharp turns and winding sections, and some parts are relatively narrow. Cyclists are advised to pay extra attention to safety.
