Dingjie Police Station Introduction
"Dingjie Police Station" is located at No. 5, Zhongzheng Road, Fengyuan District (next to Fengyuan Railway Station). It was established in 1930 during the Japanese colonial period and originally served as the Dingjie Police Officer Station of Taichung Prefecture, Fengyuan County. In 2002, it was officially registered as a historical building by the county government. The historical building is situated to the left of Fengyuan Railway Station and features a two-story design built in 1936. Originally, the exterior was a brown washed pebble wall with a base adorned with green glazed tile, but it was later painted red to meet the operational needs of the police agency. On April 16, 2002, it was announced as a historical building of the city. The building is currently operated by an external organization and is planned as a multifunctional space for art exhibitions, music performances, local specialty products, cultural and educational promotions, and dining services.
