Taichung City Taipei Fiber Art Museum is the first public museum at the city level in Taichung and also the first specialized museum in the country focused on fiber. The museum integrates Taiwan's cultural context and natural resources, building its foundation on four main categories of artifacts: Han Chinese, Taiwanese indigenous peoples, ethnic minorities from southwestern China, and contemporary creations. It serves as a platform connecting fiber creators with artifacts while promoting the heritage of fiber craft culture. The museum aims to embody the principles of "Fiber, Fashion, and Green Craft," upholding the four main functions of museums: collection, research, display, and education. Over 1,200 pieces of fiber artifacts with historical, cultural, and artistic value will be shared with the public, combining aesthetic beauty and craftsmanship.
