Baiyang Sheng Temple Introduction
Investing over 1 billion TWD and taking more than 20 years to build, the "Yiguan Dao Master Memorial Hall - Baiyang Holy Temple" is modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The entire exterior wall features cloisonné, inlaid with pure copper, creating a brilliant appearance. It is larger in area and height than the Temple of Heaven, making it a marvel of the ancient and modern world, a monumental masterpiece. The entire structure stands 54 meters tall, with an indoor area of 300 ping and an outdoor area of 300 ping. The three-tiered roof symbolizes heaven, earth, and humanity, while the four large pillars inside represent the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, divided into 12 months and further into 24 solar terms, integrating the essence of Dao into the architecture. This realization is aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of previous generations and enables Dao practitioners worldwide to participate in the effort to achieve the Maitreya Paradise.
