Baiyang Sheng Miao Introduction
The "Yiguan Dao Founder Memorial Hall - Baiyang Temple," which cost over one billion NTD and took more than 20 years to build, is modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The entire exterior is made of cloisonné, with pure copper inlays that are brilliantly golden and resplendent. Its area and height exceed those of the Temple of Heaven, making it a contemporary and ancient marvel, a monumental work. The entire structure stands 54 meters tall, with an interior area of 300 ping and an exterior area of 300 ping. The temple features a three-tiered roof design symbolizing heaven, earth, and humanity. Inside, four large pillars represent the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—further divided into 12 months and then into 24 solar terms, integrating the principles of Dao into the architecture. It aims to achieve the goals set by the predecessors and invites the global Dao community to participate in realizing the Maitreya homeland.
