Baiyang Sheng Temple Introduction
Investing over 1 billion NTD and over 20 years in construction, the Yiguandao Founder Memorial Hall - Baiyang Holy Temple, modeled after the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, features exterior walls adorned with cloisonné and is inlaid with pure copper, shining brilliantly in gold and jade. Its area and height surpass that of the Temple of Heaven, making it a remarkable spectacle and a monumental masterpiece. The entire structure stands 54 meters tall, with an interior area of 300 ping and an exterior area of 300 ping. The Temple of Heaven design includes three tiers of eaves, symbolizing heaven, earth, and humanity. Inside, four large pillars represent the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—divided into 12 months and further into 24 solar terms, integrating the tenets of Daoism into the architecture. This realization of the aspirations of past generations invites Daoists from around the world to participate in the effort to achieve the Maitreya Paradise.
