Yanshui Wu Temple Introduction
Yanshui Wumiao Temple enshrines Guan Sheng Di Jun. According to legend, during the late Ming Dynasty, an image of Guan Sheng Di Jun worshipped by a devotee in Madou was blown by the wind more than ten kilometers away to a banyan tree in Yanshui and could not be retrieved. The locals believed it to be a miracle and built a temple on the spot to worship it, and it has remained a center of faith in Yanshui to this day.
