Yongcheng Theater Introduction
Yongcheng Theater was established in 1945, but its predecessor was not a theater; it was the "Yongcheng Rice Mill" operated by Mr. Huang Zhi. During the Japanese colonial period, the Huang family's rice mill accumulated strong connections with the Japanese government through long-term cooperation, leading to flourishing business. However, when World War II broke out, the rice mill was also affected. After the Japanese withdrew from Taiwan, the once-thriving rice mill was severely impacted. Mr. Huang Zhi then transformed it into a theater, which is the origin of Yongcheng Theater.
