Yongkang Park Introduction

Entering Yongkang Park, the towering coconut trees on both sides evoke an imagination of being in a tropical country. The lush lotus pond is a must-see attraction in the park. Originally known as Yunshan Farm, Yongkang Park was once the residence of President Chiang Ching-kuo. In the 1960s, when Mr. Chiang visited the south, he stayed in the farm cottage at Yunshan Farm. It was later renovated into a park, while the residence was preserved and became the Chiang Ching-kuo Memorial Cultural Center. The park is rich in ecology, and along the ecological trails, visitors can observe many small creatures living in the park. There are also facilities like a sand pit pavilion and an observation deck, creating a tranquil environment infused with a southern atmosphere, making it a great place for citizens to take leisurely walks and enjoy nature.
