Kuanxi Bay Cultural Park - Bao'an Temple Introduction
Bao'an Temple was established in 1946. Although it is not an ancient temple with a history of over a hundred years, it houses extremely valuable cultural assets, making it a rare sight in Taiwan. The temple simultaneously showcases the works of four National Living Treasure Masters: the paper-cutting work of Master Yeh Chin-Lu, the door god paintings and ceiling murals of Master Pan Li-Shuei, the altar murals of Master Tsai Tsao-Ju, and the stone carvings of Master Shih Hung-Yi. It can be said that the masterpieces of these four renowned masters are gathered in one place. Due to years of smoke from incense, a renovation was carried out in 2014, during which the works of the masters were organized, restored, and reinforced, revitalizing both the inside and outside of the temple, and allowing their artistic creations to radiate brilliance once again.
