Tainan Museum of Furniture Industry Introduction

This is the well-known landmark of the Tainan Furniture Industry Museum, attracting the attention of passing tourists. The museum was formerly Yongxing Furniture Store and has been renovated from a factory with decades of production experience, making it one of the early tourist factory-style museums in Tainan. The museum showcases the history and evolution of Taiwan's furniture industry and houses many classic wooden furniture pieces from both domestic and international sources, providing both exhibition and educational functions. In recent years, with the rise of cultural and creative industries, many design students from various colleges and universities frequently come here for internships or visits, adding a talent cultivation aspect to the museum and allowing the old industry to merge with contemporary young ideas. The woodworking experience area is the most lively place in the museum, where many visitors interested in the woodworking furniture industry come to enjoy the fun of hammering and crafting.
