The original Tainan Shrine office and the outer garden were built around 1936, roughly at the same time as the Wude Hall. The materials and design are similar to those of the Wude Hall. Some believe it served as the shrine's office, while others think it was a resting place for the shrine at that time. Regardless of its purpose, it remains a beautiful building from the Japanese colonial period.
