Tainan Theological Seminary (formerly Tainan Theological School Campus and Chapel) Introduction
The filming location of the seminary scene featuring the character Zhu Qing in the drama "A Handful of Green" is Tainan Theological College. Due to the popularity of the show, the seminary, which already attracted many visitors, has gained even more attention. Established in 1903, this seminary is located in the East District of Tainan, surrounded by residential areas. The tranquil atmosphere aligns perfectly with the seminary, where simple and plain gray walls are adorned with fresh Tiffany green pointed wooden windows, adding a touch of romance to the European-style building. Walking along the white classroom corridor, the sunlight streaming through fills the seminary with a sacred ambiance. The small fountain in the center is a favorite spot for many visitors, as watching the koi fish swim offers a sense of spiritual calmness. On weekdays, the campus is not open for visits to ensure tranquility during classes; only on weekends is access allowed to view the exterior of the buildings.
