Creativity Station - R7 Shijia Station Introduction
Kaohsiung, with its advantageous harbor, has unique outward economic and trade advantages. In recent years, in response to changes in industrial types, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has collaborated with the city government to create the "R7 Creative Site." This initiative focuses on three main axes: "design," "life," and "education," connecting and mentoring the domestic textile and design industries while establishing an interactive platform with consumers, aiming to cultivate local designer brands. The R7 Creative Site is located on the first floor of the Shijia Meeting Hall in Labor Park, near Exit 3 of the R7 Shijia MRT Station. The exhibition area of the R7 Creative Site features an open design that can adapt to different display types. The high space, accentuated with a black background and natural wood materials, creates an atmosphere of creative fashion. The venue includes a display area for local designers' works, currently featuring five resident designers, allowing the public to engage directly with designers, observe, or participate in the design process, creating unique works from scratch. After a while, various light food cafes within the exhibition area offer cozy corners for relaxation, immersing visitors in a fresh creative atmosphere that enriches the mind.
