Cultural and Creative Industries Park - R7 Shijia Station Introduction
Kaohsiung, with its unique natural advantage of a harbor, has significant external economic and trade benefits. In recent years, to respond to changes in industrial patterns, the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs has collaborated with the city government to create the "R7 Creative Hub," which focuses on three main themes: "design," "life," and "education." It aims to connect and support the domestic textile and design industries, establishing an interactive platform with consumers and fostering the development of local designer brands. The R7 Creative Hub is located on the first floor of the Shijia Pavilion in Labor Park, near Exit 3 of the R7 Shijia MRT station. The exhibition area of R7 Creative Hub is designed without partitions, allowing for various display styles. The high space features a black background and natural wood materials, creating a chic and fashionable ambiance. The venue includes a display area for local designers' works, with five designers currently in residence. Visitors can engage closely with the designers, observe, or participate in the creative process, bringing unique works to life. If you feel tired, the numerous light food cafes in the exhibition area offer cozy corners to relax and immerse yourself in a refreshing creative atmosphere, enriching your mind.
