Creation Art Space - R7 Shijia Station Introduction
Kaohsiung has a unique economic and trade advantage due to its natural harbor. In recent years, in response to changes in industrial patterns, the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Bureau has collaborated with the city government to establish the "R7 Creative Hub." This hub focuses on three main pillars: "Design," "Life," and "Education," connecting and supporting domestic textile and design industries while creating an interactive platform with consumers, aiming to cultivate local designer brands. The R7 Creative Hub is located on the first floor of the Shijia Pavilion in Labor Park, near Exit 3 of the R7 Shijia MRT Station. The exhibition area of the R7 Creative Hub features an open design that can adapt to different display formats. The high space, with a black background and natural wood materials, creates a stylish and creative ambiance. The venue includes a display area for local designers' works, currently hosting five resident designers, allowing the public to engage with designers, observe, or participate in the design process, creating unique pieces from scratch. If you get tired, several light meal cafes in the exhibition space offer cozy corners to relax, immersing yourself in a fresh creative atmosphere that enriches the mind.
