Meino Hakka Cultural Museum Introduction
Established in 2001, the Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum is dedicated to the important mission of preserving and passing down Hakka cultural history. It operates under the concept of a community museum, aiming to enhance cultural subjectivity and regional cultural development, showcasing the historical and cultural diversity of Meinong while connecting with the community to improve understanding and interaction among local ethnic groups. The museum's architectural style features a design inspired by traditional tobacco drying sheds and courtyard layouts, exuding a sense of stability and simplicity. Inside, the museum offers a two-story exhibition space where visitors can explore the rich Hakka lifestyle and culture, presenting the characteristics of Hakka culture in the Meinong area. It utilizes various media, physical exhibits, photographs, documents, videos, videotapes, replica models, ecological landscaping, and interactive displays to present different aspects of history and the interplay between ethnic characteristics and the environment through the artifacts on display. The museum includes a first-floor special exhibition room, themed halls, and artifact exhibition rooms, as well as a second-floor children's exploration area and a celebration artifact room. The overall environment is tranquil and comfortable, attracting many visitors on holidays.
