Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum Introduction
Established in 2001, the Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum is dedicated to the important mission of preserving and transmitting Hakka cultural history. It operates under the concept of a community museum, aiming to implement cultural identity and the development of local culture, showcasing the historical and cultural diversity of Meinong while fostering understanding and interaction among local ethnic groups. The architecture features a traditional tobacco barn design and a courtyard layout, exuding a sense of simplicity and stability. The museum offers a two-level exhibition space that allows visitors to explore the rich cultural life of the Hakka people, illustrating the presence of Hakka culture in the Meinong area through various media, artifacts, photographs, documents, videos, tapes, replica models, ecological landscaping, and interactive displays, presenting historical aspects from multiple perspectives and deeply conveying the relationship between ethnic characteristics and environmental interactions in the exhibits. The entire museum includes a first-floor special exhibition room, themed halls, artifact exhibition rooms, and a second-floor children's exploration area and celebration artifact room, set in a serene and comfortable environment, attracting numerous visitors on holidays.
