Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum Introduction
Established in 2001, the Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum is tasked with the important mission of preserving and transmitting Hakka cultural history. It is managed based on the concept of a community museum, aiming to realize cultural subjectivity and the development of local culture, showcasing the historical and cultural diversity of Meinong while integrating with the community to enhance understanding and interaction among local ethnic groups. The architectural style features the design of a traditional tobacco building and a courtyard, embodying a stable and simple aesthetic. Inside, the two-story exhibition space provides visitors with insights into the rich Hakka lifestyle, illustrating the characteristics of Hakka culture in the Meinong area. Various media, artifacts, photographs, documents, films, videotapes, replica models, ecological landscaping, and interactive displays are utilized to present multiple aspects of historical features, deeply expressing the interaction between ethnic qualities and the environment in the exhibits. The museum includes a special exhibition room, themed halls, artifact exhibition rooms on the first floor, and a children's exploration area and celebration artifacts room on the second floor. The overall environment is serene and comfortable, attracting numerous visitors, especially during holidays.
