Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum Introduction
Established in 2001, the Meinong Hakka Cultural Museum carries the important mission of preserving and passing on Hakka cultural history. It operates based on the concept of a community museum, implementing goals of cultural subjectivity and regional cultural development, showcasing the multifaceted history and culture of Meinong, and enhancing understanding and interaction among local ethnic groups. The architectural style features a tobacco drying house shape and a traditional courtyard design, characterized by its steady and simple appearance. Inside, the two-story exhibition space provides visitors with insights into the rich Hakka lifestyle and presents the characteristics of Hakka culture in the Meinong area. Various media, artifacts, photographs, documents, videos, tapes, replica models, ecological landscaping, and interactive displays are utilized to illustrate different historical aspects and explore the interaction between ethnic characteristics and the environment. The museum includes a special exhibition room, thematic exhibition halls, and an artifact exhibition room on the first floor, as well as a children's discovery area and celebration artifact room on the second floor. The overall environment is serene and comfortable, attracting many visitors on holidays.
