Banana Pier Introduction
Banana Pier was an exclusive warehouse for the export of bananas in early Taiwan. Over time, as banana exports declined with changing times, it became less significant. However, due to its location at the intersection of Kaohsiung's First and Second Ports, it offers a view of the port’s shipping activities. The Port Authority has named it "Observation Deck" and has outsourced its management to provide an intelligent recreational service by the water. On Sunday afternoons, sitting at the outdoor café on the pier, the sun illuminates the entire port, and the sparkling sea reflects dazzling light, allowing you to fully enjoy the lazy and romantic atmosphere of Kaohsiung Port.
