Banana Pier Introduction
Banana Pier was an exclusive warehouse for Taiwan's banana exports in its early days. However, with the changing times, the banana exports gradually declined. Located at the intersection of Kaohsiung's first and second ports, it offers a scenic view of the port and the movements of ships. The Harbor Bureau has named it "Observation Deck" and outsourced its management to provide an intellectual waterfront recreation experience. On weekend afternoons, sitting in the outdoor café at the pier, bathed in sunlight, watching the gleaming waves of the harbor, you can fully enjoy a lazy and romantic time at Kaohsiung Port.
