Xilin Harbor Line Bicycle Path Introduction
The Keelung Line freight railway, which once supported the economic lifeline of Kaohsiung for nearly half a century, has been transformed into the Xilin Harbor Line Bicycle Path after relinquishing its important responsibilities. Starting from Fisherman's Wharf connecting to the Gushan Ferry Station in the north and extending south to the Kaohsiung Dream Mall area on Jiouru Road, the 6-kilometer bike path passes by famous tourist attractions such as the Banana Wharf, the Railway Story Museum, the Pier-2 Art Center, the Love Pier, the Xilin Harbor Over River Rail Bridge, and the Glory Wharf. It connects the scenic coastal views along Kaohsiung Port with urban green corridors, allowing riders to enjoy the magnificent sights of the port city and the beautiful scenery of the Love River.
