Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park Introduction

Taking the Red Line of the MRT will easily get you to Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park, which spans an area of 95 hectares. The park is lush with greenery, giving the feeling of stepping into a forest. The area mainly encompasses the Taiwan Sugar Corporation's Qingpu Farm, and recreational facilities include a children's playground, a scenic waterside pool, walking paths, pavilions, a basketball court, and a tennis court. Not only is it a popular place for local residents in Nanzih to come for exercise, but many outdoor activities are also held here on weekends, attracting numerous visitors to the park.

Transportation Methods：MRT: Take the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line to R21 Metropolitan Park Station → Exit the station at Exit 4 and continue walking northwest along the pedestrian walkway (on the west side of the large parking lot) for about 300 meters → Turn left at Demein Road and walk along the pedestrian walkway west for about 200 meters → The entrance to Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park will be on your right side. Train: Take the train to Nanzih Railway Station → After exiting the station, turn right on Nanzih New Road for about 20 meters → Take Kaohsiung City Bus 29 (towards Zuoying) → Get off at Metropolitan Park (Kaohsiung City District Supervisory Office) Station → Right across from the Kaohsiung City District Supervisory Office is the entrance to Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park.
