Shihku Bridge Sugar Cultural Creative Park Introduction
Established in October 2011 at the Kaohsiung Qiaotou Sugar Factory (North District Warehouse Group), it is operated by the Ten Drum Art Percussion Group. The park adopts a semi-open operation model, with public spaces available for free exploration. However, tickets are required for scheduled performances and drumming workshops. The Ten Drum Art Group has received prestigious awards including the Grammy Award for Best Traditional World Music Album and Best Traditional World Music at the Independent Music Awards, allowing the public to enjoy world-class performances in Kaohsiung. The Ten Drum Cultural and Creative Park revitalizes the century-old, discontinued sugar factory spaces while preserving the historical appearance of the Taiwan Sugar Corporation, injecting new life into the art of drumming and transforming the old into the miraculous, creating a miracle in the history of Taiwan's sugar industry and drumming art. Different warehouses showcase different themes, connected by a Japanese-style landscaped courtyard. Currently, the park includes spaces such as the Eco Rain Listening Pavilion, Experience Classroom, Ten Drum Chimney Theater, Ten Drum Vegetable Garden Restaurant, Cultural and Creative Product Pavilion, and Drum Museum.
