Shigu Bridge Sugar Cultural Creative Park Introduction
Established in October 2011 within the Kaohsiung Qiaotou Sugar Factory (North District Warehouse Group), it is operated by the Ten Drum Art Percussion Group. The park adopts a semi-open business model, allowing the public to freely visit common spaces, while performances and percussion classes require separate tickets. The Ten Drum Art Percussion Group has won awards such as the "Best Traditional World Music Album" at the Grammy Awards and "Best Traditional World Music" at the Independent Music Awards, providing the public with the opportunity to enjoy world-class performances in Kaohsiung. The Ten Drum Cultural and Creative Park revitalizes the century-old dormant sugar factory space, preserving the historical appearance of Taiwan Sugar Corporation while injecting new life into percussion art, transforming decay into magic, and creating a miracle in the history of Taiwan's sugar industry and percussion art. Different warehouses showcase various themes, connected by a Japanese-style courtyard. Currently, the park includes the Ecological Listening Pavilion, Experience Classroom, Ten Drum Chimney Theater, Ten Drum Vegetable Garden Restaurant, Cultural Creative Product Pavilion, and Percussion Museum.
