Neimen 308 Heights Introduction
Neimen 308 Heights is located on the ridgeline bordering Neimen in Kaohsiung and left town in Tainan, named after its elevation of 308 meters. Locally known as "Wang Gao Liao," it is the highest point in the surrounding mountains and the best vantage point to appreciate the badland topography. The badland terrain in southern Taiwan is distributed across the foothills of Kaohsiung and Tainan, characterized by a barren mudstone area with jagged, exposed steep ridges, resembling the surface of the moon, hence its popular nickname "Moon World." In addition to the famous scenic restaurant, 308 Heights features a two-level observation deck, allowing visitors to overlook the surrounding landscape, making one feel like walking on the moon. On clear days, one can gaze far and wide at the Chianan Plain and the Taiwan Strait, offering stunning and ever-changing views. In the evening, the beautiful sunset in the west leaves people reluctant to leave.
