Bamboo Tea House and Sweet Potato Uncle Introduction
In 1997, the government encouraged farmers to transform, and sweet potato production and marketing class leader Zhuang Qianjin began work in 1999 on the preservation of Hakka culture. With the exquisite bamboo weaving skills learned from farming, he established a bamboo weaving exhibition hall to preserve Hakka culture. The entire family is involved in operating the rural eco-tourism venture Bamboo Language Tea Barn. The itinerary includes Hakka culture, family history, architectural tours, displays of old farming tools, ox cart rides, as well as sweet potato roasting, grass weaving, and bamboo weaving workshops... In the future, there are hopes to expand and develop guesthouses, making Nanpu a representative attraction for rural agricultural tourism.
