Meinong Tower Restaurant Introduction
Meinuo Tower's first-floor restaurant features a prominent plaque that marks it as a century-old establishment. Upon inquiring with the current manager, I was informed that the business has indeed passed down to the fifth generation. Whenever I visit with a large group, I always order the restaurant's famous signature dishes: pig's head meat and white-cut duck. While pig's head meat can be found elsewhere, Meinuo Tower excels in preparation, making it particularly fresh and tender, leaving all who have tried it unable to forget the experience. Additionally, the white-cut duck is topped with a sauce made from a mixture of salt, rice wine, garlic paste, and Thai basil, creating a unique flavor. Furthermore, there is the popular yet unlisted dish of rice sausage, which often sells out the quickest. Many dishes are garnished with crispy scallions, which I suspect are the soul of the restaurant.
